Check the official licensing record

Use Florida DBPR’s license search and search each number separately. Match the license type, holder, current status, expiration, and relationship to the provider named in your proposed agreement. A website listing alone does not establish that a credential is current.

Request scope-specific records

Before work begins, ask which organization and individuals are responsible for the proposed scope. If a building requires a certificate of insurance, request it for the actual provider and confirm the named insured, coverage dates, and building requirements. Ask for the relevant certification record before relying on a certification claim.

Separate assessment from remediation

For mold work, explain whether DryRush has already performed an assessment or remediation at the property. Discuss potential conflicts and whether an independent licensed provider is needed. Do not treat a remediation proposal as an independent assessment or clearance report.
